Who is or what is Karingworks?

Now, let me introduce myself. Since you made it to my site, you deserve to know about me.

I am an internet blogger and marketer. However, I did not start that way. I have been in senior housing referral and placement and senior housing communities as a marketer for years. My name is Karen Weatherford and I live in Texas.

Having been raised to work and contribute to the family, I have never felt right sitting around home and doing nothing. My friends all say I am a “workaholic” and that is probably true.

I started blogging as a hobby and making a hobby income just to have something to do. Having raised two children who are now grown and living away from the house having their own lives and having been divorced for several years I just needed something new in my life. Thus I found RRR247 a blogging and marketing family. However, it, all started with me just wanting to learn about wine and wine history with the possibility of blogging on senior issues to help families.

How it Started

Mother always loved to write, yet I never had done much writing. This opportunity really appealed to me. But, the aspect of blogging was a foreign concept. I was introduced to the Performance Blogging System by a former coworker. This system combines writing with affiliate marketing and advertising. Did you know that there are several companies out there that will pay you commissions on the sales you generate through marketing for them? This is the basic concept of Performance Blogging. Now let me tell you about my online shopping mall, Karen’s Online Journey with Karing-works. Why Karingworks? Well, that’s a great question. And there really isn’t much reason. At one time I had another business with that name as a consulting firm for the senior housing market. When it came time for a name for my website I really couldn’t come up with a good name at the time, so I just used it. It started out as Shopping Online with Karingworks, then it went to a few different names but still not satisfied I just came back to Karing-works.. Karingworks (Caring-works). That is a lot like our Mission Statement. So for now that has been the name of my website. Google likes the small numerical URLs that Rory’s System uses. And I agree they make recognition of your site harder to remember than just using the website name Karingworks. My daughter says no one will know who you are with that URL address….but again Rory teaches us that it is the way Google prefers and it is a system, not a suggestion we are told.
