The Mountain Directory Ebooks
The Mountain Directory Book informs you of the steep grades, how steep will they be, how long are they, and where they are located. Furthermore, it gives you information on whether the road is two lanes, three lanes, or four lanes. Are there any escape ramps, switchbacks, sharp curves, speed limits, etc?
With this information, someone can plan their trip in advance. And they can then make an informed decision of whether to go around or over the pass.
Perhaps the morning hours would ease the strain on the engine and transmission during the climb because the weather is cooler. Maybe unhooking the towed vehicle would make the climb and the descent easier. By knowing what lies ahead it is easier to make informed decisions on your trip across the country.
The Mountain Directory Guide comes with reviews for the RVers. RVs often have problems going up and coming down mountain grades. When you are traveling from one coast to another these reviews tell you where the “problem areas” are located.
Nothing can ruin your day faster than taking the wrong way with a huge rig.
