Plan a picnic in a favorite or even a new location, like a lake or park. Create a beautiful picnic basket with easy-to-eat foods, great cheeses, fruits, and other tasty foods. Add in a couple of bottles of water and fine wine. You could even create a fun-themed scavenger hunt with clues leading to the picnic and hints about the wine choice. Remember the favorite wine of choice again for December. Then toast while remembering that fun Christmas in July picnic.

Have your family members find old photos so you can reminisce while having a cool glass of wine. Decide which photos would create a photo Christmas collage or Christmas card. Might even take a few new photos while together. Think about your family and how they like to have fun. Create something special that will enrich those there with you, sipping on their wine.

Call or visit your local wine shop and ask for a wine created in a special year. Then maybe go by a nursery, pick up a few new plants, and enjoy your special wines while repotting your plants into containers. Here you find out what type of wine and house plants would make a great gift in December this year, bringing back July memories.

More Fun Activities You Can Do With Children

Buy wine and a Churro-making kit. Have fun as a group making these fun desserts and serve with wine. Be sure to order ahead of time, so you can make it happen. This is a fun event for children, and then you can repeat thisfun activity at your traditional holiday celebrations. (or several Churro kits and fun tee shirts for gifts)

Get a few bottles of wine from a historical family vineyard. Track the story of the vineyard, and possibly frame the story with pictures you took of your favorite wines. Serve your wines in special wine glasses. Then give a set as gift in December. Maybe purchased at the Vinyard.

Create a music and dance event. Pick a decade or mix the decades. Serve wines matching the times you’ve chosen. Then re-create by purchasing a few albums, and again, of course, the wine you drank at the event to discuss in December.

What About the Adventurers in Your Family

Go for a bike ride, fish, hike, play golf, or have a croquet match. Once home, save some sparkling wine, grill some fish and veggies, and vote on who performed best. Find out if they have safety equipment for their iPhone, golf cart speakers, and boat phone holders….. Great products for the man in the house. These make great gifts, and you can have the conversations in July at your cookout. Think about a gift of health with the EMF pendant, gift real estate, or healthy living products.
