4th of July Holiday Traditions

4th of July Holiday Traditions. The 4th of July is also known as Independence Day, the 4th of July is when the United States of America celebrates becoming its own nation. I am sure we can all remember making memories with family on the 4th of July.

This summer holiday, we often bust out our best grilling recipes, stock our coolers with cold drinks, and

spend the day enjoying family and friends and fireworks!.

No gathering is complete without the perfect music playlist

This is why I put together this collection of fantastic 4th of July songs.

From “The Star Spangled Banner” to newer “Party in the U.S.A.,” this 4th of July playlist is one I put together for an event recently entertaining senior independent and assisted living communities with a group of my “quirky crew” friends.

I hope this will allow you more time to plan your July desserts or decide which BBQ side dishes to serve alongside those hamburgers and hot dogs. (or steaks and pick your favorite wines, beers, or sweet Southern iced tea) And if you want even more help, I am going to give you some trivia questions I also put together for our 4th of July entertainment.

My Family Traditions and Memories

My Family 4th of July Traditions and Memories

My family loved to go to Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas for our 4th of July celebrations yearly. We would fish, swim, and cook out with friends and family. and listen to music while watching fireworks over the lake. This was one of the few holidays that my parents (who were florists) were not working 24/7 in the shop.

What were some of your family traditions?
